Emergency Response

HAS SOMEONE YOU KNOW BEEN ARRESTED?

Why You Are Reading This (And They Aren't)

When someone is arrested, their mobile phone is immediately seized by police. They cannot search for a lawyer themselves.

It is up to you (family or friend) to instruct a solicitor for them.

Your Right to Help (PACE Code C, Para 6.15)

"If a solicitor has been contacted by a third party (friend/relative) on the detainee's behalf... the detainee must be informed."
